What else does one do at 3am when they can’t sleep but recap post GYTO Fest 2026 🥰

Here’s what’s on my heart this year and what GYTO means to me 🩵

1️⃣ Beyond the balloon arches, beyond the Collective, beyond the celebrities and confetti, and beyond the incredible sessions, GYTO is all about the dang community. It is a community of teachers pouring into, lifting {and hyping} up, learning with, and showing UP for other teachers.
Confession: I’m an introvert, and large (even medium sized) groups of people drain me. Always. But not at GYTO. Ever. The community that GYTO has built and continues to grow year after year is one that encourages, challenges, supports, and celebrates. Period. Every single conversation I had with a presenter, an attendee, a magic squad member, or heck even a member of the incredible @impulsecreates team - not teachers, but magic. makers. FOR teachers - lifted me higher, left me feeling valued and heard, and refreshed my heart and mind in every way. There’s no competition nor comparison. There are no cliques. There is no jealousy nor animosity. There are no whispers nor judgement. There’s is just a giant and incredibly talented community who supports me (and thousands of other teachers) showing up.

2️⃣ Personally, GYTO is a place where I get to show up authentically as Ashley, completely unedited, and it’s valued. It’s not judged. It’s not gossiped about. It’s not taken advantage of. It’s not a source of anxiety, when daily, most things for me are. No. It’s celebrated, it’s accepted, and it’s seen. It’s a place where I get to be me without adjusting a thing nor worrying about who it might upset. And I am forever grateful for the gift that this safe place has been for me.

3️⃣ My one regret? I didn’t take enough pictures this year. However, I know that also means that I was present and in the moment, and I actually think that was quite healing for me this week. Shout out to so many friends who have shared some of their pictures with me to be able to compile this post ❤️ Caption continued in comments …

So humbled and so very grateful to be a part of GYTO 🩵🧡💛🩷 I love getting to pour into and celebrate teachers, and I LOVE every bit of the what, the why, the how, and the (heavy on the) WHO that @getyourteachon stands for. So grateful. And so so glad to be here 🩵
