As I mentioned in my first post, I am going to use my new blog for personal and professional use, so brace yourself for the ridiculous amount of adorable that is my first grade class <3 At our school, we had a school wide Science Fair, and we now have our things on display including lots of pictures of our experiments. I, being the bit of a control freak that I am, gave them the option of 5 different and simple experiments to conduct. They worked in small groups to complete them and here are a few pictures of some of our highlighted results!
There’s a paper towel in that cup. Will it get wet?? |
That glass is full of water! Why isn’t the cardboard falling off? |
Everyone loves a glass full of dancing raisins! |
Supplies before our experiments. This is about as messy as our room gets 🙂 |

I truly love what I do more than anything in this world. Being a first grade teacher is so rewarding, and this year I am so blessed with a GREAT group of kids. I miss J.Gap SO much, and would give anything to teach there again someday, but I am glad that my new school has brought me an AWESOME group of firsties and some INCREDIBLE people into my life. There’s only one way to power through this new life of mine and it is definitely no faster than one step at a time 🙂
