Happy Saturday, all! I’ve got a lot on my mind today, so I thought I would sit down and share some of my thoughts with all of you…You should know that this post’s title is quite literal 🙂 Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
1) It’s been a rocky week for my family in PA. My mom and dad are two of the best jugglers I’ve ever known, and right now they are having to juggle entirely too much. I wish I were back home with them to help out just a little bit. However, it’s out of my control, really, so I am going to do my best to send good vibes, pray often, and lend an ear. I’m thankful to have my friends, my firsties, my books, and my fabulous husband to help me to keep on keepin’ on.

2) Speaking of books – I will briefly mention, yet revisit this topic in an upcoming post, that I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES! Those books were the most amazing escape from real life that I have ever experienced and I CANNOT wait until the movie comes out in a few weeks! For now, I am going to give Harry Potter another go – I’ve tried to read it before and never made it past book 2, but this time, I’m ready!
3) My one and only beautiful sister is moving into her brand new house this weekend!! She is right outside of Baltimore, Maryland and has a beautiful new house to call “home”!! I’m pretty pumped for her, not gonna lie, and I can’t wait to go and visit! Here’s a sneak peek inside!
I would never want to leave that kitchen! |
4) I thought it was also worth mentioning, that as homesick as I am – my husband and I have some AWESOME people in our lives here in Ohio. We spent the evening with some of them last night at a friend’s house and we will spend tonight with his coworkers at their “After Christmas Christmas Party”! As exhausted as I am just thinking about being out and about 2 nights in a row (I prefer to be in bed by 9 and up by 5:) ), I am glad to get to spend some time with some of our favorite people to distract me from all of the craziness at home right now.
5) I hate the snow. Just sayin.
6) When I love something or someone, I become ridiculously passionate and enthusiastic about it – and I’m pretty excited to say that blogging (blog writing, not blog searching – which is ALSO a hobby I’m passionate about!) is already creeping onto the list of my favorite things. 🙂 I already have plans to make a second one so that I can keep all of my school posts/ideas on their own blog.
SPEAKING of school blogs – Babbling Abby emailed me! If you know how awesome that is to me, chances are that I’m pretty passionate about you!! She also invited me to lunch with a group of teacher bloggers in the tri-state area!! I’m hoping I can make it!
Ok . . .I warned you. Randomness, I know. Hopefully, you didn’t mind. 😉 Enjoy the rest of your weekends!
