So I know it’s been a while, but, unlike so many of the fabulous bloggers I follow, I’ve still got a whole week of school left and the end of the year to do list has caught up with me a bit! I finally checked my report cards off of the list last night. Yes, if you are thinking “Last night was Saturday night”, you’re right. I’m just that dedicated. Report cards on a Saturday night are how I pathetically roll. So I thought, what better way to spend my Sunday night than to post my last entry of the school year!!

Anyway…there’s SO much I am currently smiling ear to ear about and I thought you might care to know about it!
Looking Back – As challenging of school year as it’s been for me – with all of the change and adjustment I’ve gone through – I could not have made it without my outstanding coworkers at MPA. I truly work with some of the best people and best teachers that I have ever met. I am SO glad to have added all of them to my life! They’re fabulous. More than that, I’ve truly built new friendships that have, time and time again, picked me up, wiped my tears, and made me laugh until it hurts. I am so blessed to have added such wonderful people and true friends to my life this year.
Five. More. Days!!!! – Ok, I admit…I’ve already been “back to school” pinning AND googling, but it’s because I can. It’s because there are no more lesson plans to write this year. And it’s because I only have 2 days left with my current firsties + 3 days of teacher inservice and summer bliss will commence!! I may or may not have already started a 2012-2013 notebook, too. There’s something about “Back to School” prep and idea organizing that makes me smile, and it’s never too early to start if it makes you smile!! 🙂 I’m so looking forward to a routine (I need to create my new summer routine ASAP!) that sounds something like this . . . gym, coffee, Live!, read, pin, organize, lay out, ellen, gym, food, read, sleep, repeat 🙂

Weekend in MD!! – Well it’s been almost 6 months now since my beautiful sister has been in her beautiful new home in Maryland, and I’m FINALLY going to get to see it this weekend. We have been trying for weeks to coordinate with my sister’s schedule and with my parents to all go down to spend the weekend there together, and we finally found a weekend that works. As soon as that final, internal school bell rings on Friday afternoon, we are Baltimore bound 🙂 I’m sure I couldn’t be more excited!

This weekend, I was reminded of the fact I knew which is that I married one of the smartest men on the planet. I’ve always been thankful that he picked me, and I’ve always known what a great catch he is, but I realllly realized this weekend how incredible he really is. I am ridiculously lucky to have him <3 Love you, Schroed 🙂 🙂
