allow me to elaborate 🙂
1. Listening . . . I love silence. And quiet. And silence. I GLADLY drive the 4 hours home to PA with neither radio nor music on a Friday night after a week of “Mrs. Schroeder!” x27 on repeat. A silent classroom at 3:45 is one of my most favorite sounds in the world. 🙂
2. Loving. OMIWORD. Soooo I’m an EC planner first timer . . . My mom got me the life planner for my birthday and I ADORE it. The colors, the tabs, the STICKERS?!?! Life doesn’t get cuter. Plus, I love my middle name – always have – and what better way to share it with all of you than via my life planner?! I mean seriously.
3.Thinking – Okay. My weekends seem to be just as non-stop as my weeks from laundry, to groceries, to projects, to weddings, to traveling, to LESSON PLANNING and I feel like the boy and I never get to just stop and chill out!! I just wish there was one more day of the week – to be named “Stopday” – and, by law, the chores stopped and all of the free time in the world was yours to just chill and BE with your favorites! Who’s in?!
4.Wanting – Going along with the theme from #3, I just don’t have the free time to start watching Revenge season 2 which is finalllllly on Netflix!!! #tooklongenough. My hubs is currently studying for his CPA so maybbbe I may be seeing a bit more control of the remote when he’s hard at work. Lesson planning while watching Revenge is totally doable.
5. Needing- Never have I ever given a toast at a wedding – annnnd my baby sister’s is one month and 2 days from today!! AHHH!! I best get out my thinking cap to plan a toast full of the perfect balance of laughs, smiles and tears 🙂
6. Goals for the month!
– leaving school at 4:00 once a week has potential – due to the groove-finding previously mentioned 🙂 I won’t make promises, but I’m going to try!
– I am the OPPOSITE of a natural in the kitchen and the POSTER CHILD for creatures of habit soooo trying a new meal (let alone 3) is going out on a limb. A very wobbly limb. 🙂
– Annnd I miss my husband. I live with him, but I miss him?! Is that possible?? If I meet one of my September goals, this WILL be the one I meet. 🙂
Hope you all have had a great start to September. I’m off to buy a set of 4-month passes at the gym and maybe even get started on Revenge . . . and reading plans . . . tonight! Happy Tuesday! <3

Ashley,
I just love your 3 goals for this month! I'm a newly wed (July 21, 2013) and I miss my husband sooo much! He's a police officer and works crazy long shifts! every other week he works 5 days (Mon, Tues, Fri-Sun) for over 14 hours a shift! On those weeks I feel like I don't see him or get to spend any time with him at all. Even on his short weeks I'm at work all week and he usually has to help his family on the weekends so we haven't gotten much time together. I hope that you are able to find a way to meet this goal and I'm going to work on that as a personal goal too! Good luck =D

I loved reading your currently. I know what you mean about missing your husband. Sometimes we are so busy it just feels like were passing by each other through the week. I think that is a great goal to have. Maybe I will try it too!!! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jamie! Glad you liked my currently! 🙂 Isn't it crazy how we can miss them, yet we're under the same roof?!? Here's to both of us keeping our goals and to finding some sort of "free" time with our husbands! 🙂 Happy Wednesday!
