Hi friends! I just wanted to drop in quickly tonight to link up with Michelle at Smitten with First!
This past week (or so), my kiddos have had some trouble using the number grid and its patterns. We’ve been working on 10 more/10 less patterns and mental math for what seems like months, but they still aren’t seeing those patterns on the number grid that I’d like them to! We even do some WBT (whole brain teaching loveeee) and say 10 more through the floor as we point down like we are hopping down on the number grid and we exaggeratedly say 10 less! and point upward like we hopping up on a number grid. Still. not. sticking.
SO I created a few number grids and number cards that are winter themed that I’m hoping they can use to practice drawing a card and telling 10 less and 10 more than the number card they draw. HERE’S HOPING!!! Regardless . . .it’s free in my TPT store!
