I’m linking up quickly with Coast to Coast Kinder for WOW Wednesday!! I was so busy OTES prepping last week, that I wasn’t able to link up, but this week, we’re sharing a Social Studies or Science idea, and I was totally ready to share and highlight my newly made-over FIRST tpt product ever!
Click the image below to head over to the linky party!!
Last month, I taught the different types of communities/environments, and that’s always one of those concepts that just doesn’t quite STICK, ya know?! Check us out . . .
We arranged ourselves into urban, rural, and suburban parts of an environment. I sent kids to the hall to help explain how far “out there” rural environments are. My urban models were packed close together in the center of our environment, and my suburban models were spaced out around the urban models!
The kids LOVED it. My suburb kids were even making their hands pointed above their heads like houses and my urban kids were making themselves tall like a skyscraper. So fun. We also used a sort and flip flap book from my new Environment Types pack….
Check out my environment type pack in my store by clicking the images above!
ANNND speaking of Social Studies, check out my new and shiny Needs and Wants pack!! This was my first TPT product ever, but I gave it a total make over yesterday! 🙂 If you’re in *NeEd* of some needs and wants resources for your economics unit, stop by my store by clicking the image below to check it out! It’s on sale, too!
Oh annnnd if you stop by my Facebook page . . . you can get a peek at one of the activities for FrEe! 🙂
I hope you are all having a good week! Happy Wednesday!!
