Hi friends!! IT’S MARCH!!! I’m sorry, that just SOUNDS springy, so whyyyy oh why are we bracing ourselves for anotherrrr storm?!?!?! Oh, because it’s Ohio, you say? …well played. WOMP WOMP.
But it also means that it’s time to link up with FARLEY for this month’s currently!!! Oh, and if you haven’t seen her ridiculously fabulous new blog design . . . you must go see it 🙂 SO cute!!
Here’s my currently for this morning!
1. I LOVE all of the birds that hang out in our backyard. I often post pictures on instagram of the fabulously red cardinals that, I swear, are my grandparents watching over me. Well they are chirping away this morning! I wish that meant spring was on it’s way….something {like the forecast} is telling me they’re singing a different tune . . .
2. My name is Ashley, and I am addicted to all things TPT and clip art. I could NOT stop shopping yesterday . . . nor the day before that! I have LOADED up my files with new clip art, and have FILLED my march bag of tricks with close reading and interactive notebook activities galore for my kiddos! I am SET!
This week, I posted on IG a little bit about how I organize my clipart art and frames. I just have way too many at this point to let them stay hidden in folders on my computer!
my post from IG:
Here’s a peek inside my clipart binder which now I feel the need to make cover pages for each section haha but it’s constantly getting added to, so I feel like it’s ok that it is less than polished because it’s my working binder!.
..ok so I have my font preview pages first followed by thumbnails of my mostly used border packs… They’re organized by artist:) and they’re in the same order that they’re in in my files on my computer… That way they’re easy to find, but having them all in one place makes them easier to see/find what I want!
Then my clip art is organized by artist, too, and also is in the same order my files on my computer are in (alphabetical). At the top of each page I have the name of the pack, name of the artist and their button, too. Easy reference for when I’m making my credits page! I don’t have all of my clip art printed – just my mostly used!
At your request, I’m planning a more detailed blog post about how I organize it all in the near future! Stay tuned!
3. Today and tomorrow are filled with much more than I prefer to have going on on a weekend. I prefer quiet weekends. I prefer catching up on grading, house work, emails, etc and actually getting the chance to have a meal or two at a normal hour!
My weeks are absolutely NON stop and I’m trying to channel and find all of the deep breaths that I can to keep calm through my busy weekend ahead . . Do you prefer a quiet weekend? Or a crazy one?!
4. Well . . . see the post above. Other than coffee, new clipart, TARGET, chevron sales, creating, my 2nd graders, chocolate, a surprise snow day, or penn state, {ok, a lot of things make me happy} nothing makes me happier than a day in my sweats. 🙂
5. My Keurig is shouting at me. I have a few to-dos to tackle with coffee in chevron mug in hand before the crazy crazy weekend begins.
6 – Ok the question YOU have to guess!!
I gave you 3 answers to it . . . any guesses what the question I answered is?!!?
And lastly, before I go, I MUST say THANK YOU to the love this weekend with which I was absolutely overwhelmed at my little ol’ store! <3
THANK YOU for stopping by my store and leaving me love about what you loved!! 🙂
I’m doing a quick link up, too with Laura for a TPT Sale best Seller Party! How fun?!
I actually don’t know the EXACT top seller of the sale for me, (not sure how to sort the sales page to show top sales for a given day(s), but these three would’ve been flying off the shelves if the supplies weren’t fantastically and digitally bottomless!
click any image above to take a closer look and the best seller <3
You can also click the Lucky Bestsellers button to head to the linky to see other best sellers from this week’s sale!
Ok, my coffee is getting cold, and my clip art is screaming to be used! I hope you all have a perfect Saturday!! THANK YOU again for stopping by. <3

That clipart organization is JUST GENIUS! I'll be needing that soon! I definitely stocked up at the sale as well. I'm with you on the whole sweatpants on the weekend – doesn't bother me one bit and I need to "recharge" for the week!
Glad I found you through the link up, I'm your newest follower 🙂

Love this post. I'm guessing that your last "currently" is your feeling toward something.. perhaps a new project?

I can't wait to see your detailed post about 'the' binder. It takes me hours to get a cover together from all the digging I have to do through all my paper, frames and clip art. I would love to organize that part of my life 🙂

I love your clip art organizing binder! What a great idea!! I love it, and am totally going to figure out how to do that this summer, or maybe Spring Break if I am up to it!! This would totally help when I want to buy new clipart too, to make sure that I don't buy something that I already have!! I love a day in my sweats too, they are my favorite!! I was so thankful that today was PJ day for us!!
