Happy FRIDAYYYY, friends!!! It’s my favorite day of the week, which means it’s my favorite LINKY of the week!! I’m so excited to be linking up for Five for Friday with Doodlebugs Teaching!
Psst – be sure to follow my blog while you’re here, because the next few weeks will be packed FULLL of posts that you won’t want to miss!!
Ok -here are my five randoms from the week!
Sooo this week was the definition of a teachable moment in my classroom. We were taking our 5 minute afternoon break for snack – we have the WORST schedule ever with a MARATHON of a NO SPECIALS afternoon, so yes, we sure do have a snack break – and the kids got to talking about skate night, which happens a few times a year for our elementary school.
Well, they starting asking me if I was going, telling me that it would be the last one of the year, and pleaded a very good case about why I should go to skate night with them. Welp. I decided to scrap the biography writing for the day and did a mini lesson to refresh on OREO (State opinion, give reasons to support your opinion, restate opinion) style opinion writing! The kids went to TOWNNN on why I should join them.
It worked. I went. And here were some of my favorite persuasive pieces!
Apparently, my kids know me well. So I went. And loved every minute with them! Am I the only one NOT looking forward to the very tear filled last day of school?!? I LOVE my class!
So this week, I hit a few different milestones between my TPT store, my IG followers, and my Facebook page, and I am THRILLED to be throwing a sale in my little shop as a way to celebrate and to say thank you! Also, stay tuned this weekend on my FACEBOOK page for more celebrating!!
You can click the image above to head to my store to take a peek at my sale! 🙂 There are spring resources galore!! 🙂
Speaking of spring centers – between this week and last, I’ve been a bit of a machine crazy – ok I’ve just been tackling to dos and I’ve got SEVERAL new spring centers to choose from. I blogged all about my SPRING MATH AND ELA CENTERS this week, too and you can read more HERE!
Here are a few pictures of my newest products!!

And don’t forget – it’s ALL ON SALE THIS WEEKEND!! 🙂 🙂
So, this weekend, I got to be a part of something that I’ve been dying to participate in since starting this TPT journey in October!
I got to be part of a NE Ohio teacher blogger meet-up!!!
I can’t go a letter further without saying THANK YOU TO TAMI from O H so Blessed for doing such a beautiful job organizing a meet-up to bring some amazingly talented NE Ohio teachers together last Saturday! I could’ve stayed and chatted with these ladies for days! SO glad I will get to see most of them again this summer in Vegas!! I had a blast, and I’m already looking forward to the next meet-up!
Casey, Tami, and I could’ve chatted it up all night long! But then we got kicked out of our large table haha…
Look at this cuteness! Her theme was rainbows and pots of gold, and I was even lucky enough to win a prize filled with dollar spot goodies!! 🙂 Hello happy teacher!
And I was THRILLED to get to hang out with Miss Decarbo from Sugar and Spice ! We even share a few teacher friends in “real” life! 🙂 She is as sweet as pie and I’d love to have the chance to work with her some day!
Clearly, at the next meet-up, I will make it a goal to get more pictures with all of the wonderful ladies who were there! I am forever thankful and grateful to have such an amazingly talented teaching team of teachers who work just down the road from me! I love you all! 🙂 🙂
And before I leave you for the weekend – my kiddos wrapped up our pronoun unit this week! We are now pretty successfully savvy with pronouns, reflexive pronouns, and possessive pronouns! Here are a few action shots of us mastering our pronouns this week!
This pronoun professionals SUPPLEMENTAL activity is available on my Facebook page under my Facebook Fan Freebie tab! You can snag it there to go along with my Pronoun Pal pack!
You can take a closer look at my Pronoun Pals – which is quickly climbing to be a top seller! – by clicking below if you’re interested!
I hope you all have a GREAT Friday! Stop by the blog on Sunday for a 2nd grade Swap Hop!! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! <3

I just bought your Pronoun Pals pack…I liked the "Possessive Pronoun Professionals" sheet that was in one of the pictures in the blog post. After purchasing the pack, I was disappointed that that sheet was not included with your other pronoun activities.

Hi Sara – I apologize for your disappointment – my pronoun professionals is actually a Facebook fan freebie on my Facebook page so you can grab it there, or if you email me at schroedershenaningansin2nd@gmail.com, I will gladly email it to you if that is easier for you! Thanks so much for letting me know. Thank you for your purchase, as well!

I appreciate your response–I will e-mail you, as I don't have Facebook (I know, I'm behind the times!). I'm looking forward to using your other pronoun activities with my class in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again.
