YAYYYY! It’s FRIDAY! <3
That means – FIVE for FRIDAY with Doodle Bugs Teaching!!
Here are my 5 randoms from the week . . .
I’ll start with the beginning of the week – which technically, Five for Friday speaking, was Saturday!
I get SO many questions and comments about my organization – from how I organize centers, lessons plans, kid books, you name it! But this week, I posted a picture that got tons of questions about how I organize what I own from TPT, my clip art, freebies, etc – and it inspired me to create this little ol’ TPT purchase and more Organizer! . . .
Andddd guess what! It’s on sale through today! You can take a look HERE or by clicking the pictures above! . . It has helped me gain a visual to what all I own! My files are no longer hidden in a folder! . . . I will be blogging about this set in detail – including tutorials to make thumbnails of the cover photos to add into your organizing pages – over on the Collaboration Connection coming up next week!! 🙂 Stay tuned for more details!
So this weekend I decided to go to the movies! – Not literally, though . . .I had had requests and questions about creating an adjectives and adverbs pack SOOO I busted out (or checked out at TPT again!) the hollywood themed clip art and created a little pack of adjective and adverb practice galore!!
laminating this guy at 11:30 the other night made my tired eyes smile! 🙂 🙂 Ahhh can’t wait to use it! |
It includes:
Anchor Charts for both adjectives and adverbs
Adjective Matching Game
Adverb Sorting game – CUT! (a spin on Bang!)
Adjective/adverb SCOOT
Adjective and adverb practice pages and flip flap books
AND Ink friendly pages to be kind to your printer 🙂
Honestly, I think it’s my new favorite product!!! 🙂
Oh – – – and THIS IS ON SALE THROUGH TODAY, TOO! 🙂 Click HERE to take a closer look or the image above!
Another random this week that popped up was a bit of a freebie filled plan that my fellow bloggers and I came up with over at the Collaboration Connection! We are going to be celebrating the fact that Spring has finally arrived with some FREEBIES!!
It starts tomorrow over on our collaborative blog! Stop by when you can! 🙂
Sooo it was a “OOO I have a new idea!!” kind of week, but I haven’t quite finished up any of the new ideas I’ve started . . .but I thought that a bit of a teaser may hold you over until I get some time to finish a few things this weekend! <3 . . .
COMING SOON . . .
Vocabulary Vacation will be a bit of a set 2 of vocabulary practice that will supplement my Vocabulary Toolbox that was such a hit last weekend!
Place Value Task Cards with and without QR codes –
This originally was in my plan to be a simple set of task cards for my higher group of kiddos during my observation lesson coming up – but it turned out to be way cuter and more fun than I planned! So I’ll be sharing this set with you AND (by request) creating a 1st grade and 3rd grade set soon, too!
STAY TUNED!
Well – this picture says it all. With crazy schedules – busy lives – and huge life responsibilities (for my mom) that are beyond many others’ I know – I haven’t been home since the beginning of February!!! This is CRAZINESS to me . . . I lived at home all of my life until I got married in 2011 . . .27 years up stairs. 27 years of the constant companionship of 2 of the best, most generous, and most selfless people I know – my mom and dad. 27 years of dinners together. 27 years of knowing that mom would be able to “run to Target” with me after dinner if I wanted her to. 27 years of home<3.
Well – as I type the rest of this sentence through tears – I am still a wee bit homesick after going on 3 years of marriage. I love my hubby dearly, and I love our house, and I love our life together in NE Ohio – but central PA is where my home sweet heart is and I cannot WAIT to be reunited with my mom, dad, and one and only baby sister in ONE WEEK<3
Dad texted my sister and me this week . . .
…. and that should explain why I still cry each and every time I pull out of my parents’ driveway to head back to Ohio. sigh. I’m proud of the life that my husband and I are building together, but MAN it will be so deliciously good to be HOME at this time next week <3
Happy Friday, friends <3 I heart you all!
