SOOOO I’m linking up with DOODLE BUGS TEACHING FOR FIVE FOR FRIDAY!
As I was in and out of my classroom a bit this week – and as I was posting my works in progress – Classroom Labels went to the top of my to-TPTify list! 🙂 🙂 You can see them posted in my classroom below as well as a few sneak peeks of what all is included! I created them in chevron as well as in the bright and colorful brick pattern that you see displayed in my classroom! PLUSSSS I took SO many requests for what types of labels to include (I’ve included an editable slide, too!)
SO there are OVER 100 LABELS INCLUDED in these sets!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Be on the lookout for a detailed blog post about these labels so soon!

One random AH HA! from the week . . . So corn on the cob was on the menu this week, and I happened to bring that up to my mom on the phone . . .well am I glad I did! – She had seen how to COOK CORN ON THE COB IN THE MICROWAVE!! WHAT?!?
Ok – so I admit to living under a rock sometimes, and y’all (Marcyyyyy:)) probably already knew this trick . . .BUT it blew. my. mind.
And YES, it is JUST that easy!! Here’s the video link I used!
SUCCESS! 🙂 If you don’t have time to fire up the grill, and you LOVE corn on the cob like me, this is SO so easy and QUICK to do! 🙂
When I was on a roll posting on Fridays for every Five for Friday, I would leave you with #5 being some sort of kid quote or story from the week . . .Well, until my Monday-Fridays are filled with them again, #secretlycan’twait, here’s an inspirational quote that spoke loudly to me this week.
I’m blessed with beautiful people in my life. And I have to keep mindful of not letting those creep in who proverbially plan on raining on my every parade. 🙂
Happy Saturday friends. And may this rainy Saturday in NE Ohio be filled with rainbows for all of us. <3

Love how your supply bins are all out in the open and shared. They look so inviting, and I feel like it gives kids a sense of ownership and responsibility because they have to share. I kinda-sorta did that last year, although the parents were CRAY last year and asked me for all sorts of "favors"…..like ummm "Can you please give me what ever supplies are not used at the end of the year" & the dreaded "I wrote his name on each glue stick". So, needless to say, the supplies were away in the closet. LOL

I like the supplies like this, too, but OHHHHH I HEAR YA ON THE "My kid's name was on every glue stick" debacle. I am totally upfront when they bring things in to tell them that other than the folders, we are in a community supply style classroom!! 🙂
