HI FRIENDS!! Ok – so my to-do list is OUT. OF. CONTROL with back to school right around the corner, so CLEARLYYYY a meet the teacher linky was at the top of my priority list!! I’m linking up with FALLING INTO FIRST to get to know all about YOU annnnd to share a bit of randomness that you might not know about me! 🙂
My name is Ashley Brooke Schroeder.  I’m . . . sigh  . . . 30 years old.
I was born and raised in Altoona, PA until 2011 when I got married and relocated to NE Ohio.  I miss home and my family every day, but I am forever thankful for the relationships and friendships that good ol’ Ohio has brought to my life.
I am getting ready to start my NINTH year teaching!! I taught first grade for 5 years, spent a year as an Early Literacy Coach, and now am getting ready to roll out my 3rd year in 2nd grade and O M G I heart this grade level.  I LOVED my firsties, but I absolutely ADORE 2nd grade! I LOVE every minute of what I do, and have never been more passionate about anything the way I’m passionate about my career!

Hmmm – an even planner! orrrr a professional organizer! I love hosting and setting up parties of my own and I LOVED planning my wedding  – and let’s face it, I can find a place for just about anything – so, yeah, I’d be happy with either of those career choices! 🙂

I didn’t see this before I already told you that EARLY MORNINGS are of my absolutely FAVORITE things in the world.  I love the quiet and productivity that are PROMISED to come along with them! <3

 
Q: WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU’VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP?
I LOVEEEE my Adjectives and Adverbs Hollywood themed pack!! It was one of those packs that my ideas were just ROLLING off of my back and I couldn’t stop creating! I’m super proud of my creativity with the activity titles as well as with how it turned out!! My kids LOVED the theme of it last year!!

Hmmm – – did you know that I have a BEAUTIFUL sister?!?! Her and I are night and day but the best of friends and I love her to pieces.  Allow me to quote her EPIC maid of honor speech  . . .

<3 Her name is Jenna and she lives outside of Baltimore and I miss her CONSTANTLY!
She is the prettiest and FUNNIEST girl I know and am so glad she is my sister.

    I loved reading this! It was like reading my own! A lot of our answers were very similar! Great minds 🙂 I also love Friends (and am currently watching it), Target, the gym, football, the works. The only difference is I don't drink coffee/caffeine. It makes me sick. haha

    I am sensing a common trend with teachers and event planning as career options, something about being in control? Managing 30 or so things tiny humans at the same time? Making everything pretty, classrooms? And yours is so cute and put together for back to school night.
