Happy Friday, y’all! This week was busy busy busy and last weekend my blog was fillllled with goodies, so I’m glad to be linking up with Doodlebugs Teaching today to bring you a recap of the week in FIVE FOR FRIDAY!

 

 

HAVE YOU SEEN SCOOT JR?!?!?! Allow me to recap one of the products that I am MOST proud of and so excited to use!!! . . .

The kids each have their own set of scoot cards and their own response sheet to SCOOT at their seats! They’re held accountable for scooting to and solving each task card, but it’s just on a little bit smaller and more controlled scale! (a bit more Ashley style) 🙂

I also plan on using my SCOOT JR. cards as a tool for reteaching, as well! When a kiddo doesn’t do so hot on a SCOOT set of cards, I can pull the similar SCOOT JR set for them to try again and for me to use to drive my small group instruction the next day! It’s perfect!

I kind of love it.  I cannot WAIT to launch math stations to be able to teach this to my kids!

My first set of Math SCOOT and  . . . . SCOOT JR! is available in my store, but there will be MANY more sets to come for math AND grammar and language, too!

Soooooo this weekend – my MacBook – – – my trusty, BFF of a MacBook  – – – got traded in.
I’m the PROUD new owner of a shiny new MacBook Pro and I’m so excited to be using to to be whipping up a lightening fast blog post for all of you this morning!

 

I mean – does a Labor Day get any more exciting that that?!  I spent a lot of the week transferring files and getting things set on my new computer the way I like it…. including this FREEBIE of a desktop organizer I created the other night . . .

And to piggyback off of number 4 – I get SO many questions about how I got started blogging and on TPT – is it worth it? – do I enjoy it?  I honestly LOVE LOVE LOVE being a part of this TPT and bloggy community more than I could ever explain.  It is more work than I’ve ever put into anything in the first 29 years of my life combined HOWEVER it is truly my PASSION and what I LOVE to do {along with teaching!!}, so for my quote this week . . .
