Happy Wednesday friends! My little ol’ blog has been neglected these last few weeks – life can be crazy sometimes and just call all of the shots – leaving blogging and creating off of the list . . .
butttt I’m squeezing in Wordless Wednesday post with Miss DeCarbo at Sugar and Spice!!
Here’s my picture for you today . . .
Yesterday we had TONS of fun labeling our classroom using possessive s!! I am always bound and determined to help my 2nd graders master using (and NOT using) possessive s, and this activity had them mastering it in minutes!! ๐
Soooo I ask you – – – because I LOVE using post it notes in the classroom! – – – what do YOU use post it notes for in your classroom?!?
Comment below to share your ideas, and then head over to Sugar and Spice to link up with us! ๐

Girl, we have the same Wordless Wednesday post! HA! Great minds think alike!
If first grade, we use Post-Its to list details and sentences before we write. Sometimes we write in groups and sometimes we write on our own. It all depends! ๐ I also used the idea you have listed here, but with nouns. We labeled a student to identify the nouns on them! It was loads of fun!

I love this idea for possessives! So many possibilities!
