Hey hey all! It’s a BEAUTIFUL day in NE Ohio, and, though it’s Saturday, I wanted to enjoy some sunny time in my office to bring you a few randoms from my week with a FIVE FOR FRIDAY post!

So this spring, as I got back into GO MODE after being a bit MIA for a while, I was asked to be a part of a collaborative blog, Elementary Entourage! Let me tell you . . .these are the HARDEST working group of teacher bloggers EVER and I am so so glad to be on their “team” of bloggers! Why am I bringing them up, you ask? Well, TOMORROW I’m blogging over there all about a TIME SAVING TIP that you can do NOW as you pack up THIS year to save you time when you unpack NEXT year!!

Soooooo this week I got some SUPER fabulous mail…… my BUSINESS CARDS {designed by Alexis at Laugh Eat Learn} ANNNNND my blog buttons…the hard copy kind of blog buttons… got delivered!! And I am IN LOVE WITH THEM!!!
They are ALLLLL printed from ZAZZLE! I can’t wait to sport them all in VEGAS in T-40 some days?!?
With the end of the year SO CLOSE I CAN SMELL IT!!, and my principal granting us permission to “dress casually” next week, my wardrobe will consist of t-shirts… and more t shirts 🙂 I just wanted to share my favorites that I’ve collected this year!
The blue one that says HATS was for our 2nd grade musical that our music teacher puts together, the red one is our FIELD DAY t-shirt!, the iteachsecond Blogger T shirt will be one that I sport to Vegas!, and the HAPPY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL {from teacher t-shirts} t-shirt will be worn OH SO EXCITEDLY on the last day of school! How fun?! Now, with a building that has no air… let’s hope that the humidity stays settled as it has been for the last few weeks! 🙂
By request this week, I posted a red chevron themed set of SCHEDULE CARDS for you to use as you start thinking about your new color scheme or classroom theme for next year!! They are just $2.00 in my store!
And lastly but not least, yesterday brought some more fun mail to me… eventually. Wanna hear a story?? Ok, here it goes…
So I saw the POST IT TEACHER TREASURE BOX deal from Office Depot posted on IG this week… So I ordered it. Despite the fact that I found DOZENS of post it pads when I cleaned out my office last weekend, I needed it. Right? Right. Plus, you could pay with PAYPAL which meant I didn’t even have to leave the couch to get my wallet?! WIN WIN.
So on Friday, I was checking the tracking info… it was DELIVERED while I was school. YAY! I couldn’t wait to get home and break into my 10 POUNDS OF POST ITS! (I hear the ridiculousness of that, but I NEEDED IT.)
Soooo I get home.
no box.
I think to myself … SURELY 10 pounds of post its don’t come in a box small enough to fit in the mailbox?!?! I hoped that I would get WAY more post its than THAT out of this treasure chest!…
Sooo I check the mailbox.
no box.
So I run back in the house…. check the tracking info again to be sure I saw the word “DELIVERED”.
Yep. It was delivered. #post-itnotepanicsetsin
So I contact customer service. They said it should be on the front porch. In the MEANTIME… I walked outside to, out of curiosity, check the next door neighbors’ front porches. (in a NON trespassing, I’m just peeking at your flower beds, kind of way)
I see a box.
I want to RUN to scoop up the box. {my post its HAVE to be in that box, right?!}
So I call USPS customer service back. I tell them I THINK the box might be on the neighbor’s porch. They say they’ll send out a driver to verify what he dropped off where.
Doorbell.
It’s the neighbor. She’s holding a box. #YAYYYYY My post its have made it home!!
As I bust OPEN the box, the doorbell rings again. It’s a UPS truck driver that might be younger than a pair of flip flops that I own. He looks like he’s 16. He dropped it off at the wrong house. He was sorry. POST IT NOTE DISASTER AVOIDED!! And this girl got to play with and organize post its all night long.
Soon after posting this picture on IG…. I’ve learned that NOT ALL OF THESE POST IT TREASURE BOXES ARE THE SAME?!?!?! Will I order another?!?! #ohhell

Love this!! You make my heart happy friend! Our box is totally different than yours, and after seeing yours I almost ordered us another one yesterday!!! I love your t-shirts too! Wearing teacher shirts has to be my favorite thing about Fridays!! I love you blogger shirt too!! Where did you get that one!?!

I love, love, love all those post-its! We as teachers have sticky note problems! And I love all your t-shirts! You completely inspired me to go and search "Last day of school t-shirts" and now I plan to rock one the last day of school!
